Parental Cooperation Policy
At DR. K.N. Modi Global School, we believe that the active involvement of parents and guardians is crucial to the holistic development, academic success, and character building of every student. A strong school-home partnership nurtures discipline, respect, and lifelong learning.
We kindly request all parents and guardians to adhere to the following guidelines and responsibilities:
1. Academic Support & Monitoring
•Ensure regular and punctual attendance of your ward to support academic consistency.
•Monitor your ward’s School Diary, ERP portal, and notices regularly to stay informed of assignments, school events, and communications.
•Encourage timely and responsible completion of homework, projects, and lesson preparation.
•Reinforce the importance of discipline, respectful behavior, and a focused study environment at home.
2. Grooming & Presentation
•Emphasize personal hygiene, neat grooming, and cleanliness of school uniforms, books, and belongings.
•Ensure your ward wears the valid school ID card daily. Lost cards must be reported and can be replaced for a fee of 100.
3. Communication & Visits
•All official communication with the school must be addressed to the Principal only.
•For academic or administrative concerns, parents may meet the Principal, Head Mistress, Coordinators, only during designated visiting hours (Saturdays or after school hours), or in case of emergency.
•Any urgent communication should be directed via the official school contact number or email.
•Communication with staff must be respectful and professional at all times.
4. Meetings & Participation
•Attend all Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and maintain punctuality during scheduled interactions.
•Take an active interest in your ward’s overall development, not just academics.
•Inform the school in writing of any medical conditions, allergies, or updates in contact details.
5. Conduct & Accountability
•Parents are expected to model respectful and constructive behavior when interacting with school staff and while on campus.
•Public criticism, threats, intimidation, or malicious allegations against the school or staff are unacceptable and may result in serious action, including issuance of a Transfer Certificate.
•Avoid rumor-mongering or dissemination of false information that can disrupt the school environment or community trust.
6. School Premises & Safety
•The school premises are strictly a tobacco-free and non-smoking zone.
•Parents and visitors should dress appropriately and modestly when on campus.
•All students are under school supervision during working hours. However, the school cannot be held responsible for any accidental or self-inflicted injuries occurring on campus despite reasonable precautions.
7. General Reminders
•Parental cooperation is essential for reinforcing values such as integrity, punctuality, self-discipline, and courtesy.
•Enrollment at DKNMGS implies a mutual commitment to the school’s rules, vision, and shared responsibility for student growth.
